Team GB to open hospitality venue to fans for first time at Paris 2024

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Team GB will be opening the doors of its hospitality house to fans for the first time ever.

Since London 2012, Team GB has taken over a venue in each of the host cities during the Olympic Games to use as the base for the House, offering an experience at the heart of the action for athletes, their family and friends, and Team GB guests. Paris 2024 will see Team GB House open to the general public, offering fans the ultimate place to experience the magic of the Olympic Games away from the competition venues for the very first time.

Team GB fans will be able to hear from and meet with Olympians past and present in a fun environment, enjoying live action on the big screens, live medal celebrations with Team GB athletes, live entertainment, money-can’t-buy giveaways and the very best in British cuisine. With British fans snapping up more tickets for the Games themselves than any nation outside of France, Team GB House offers a unique and magical way for supporters to get among the action.

Located at the breathtaking Pavillon d’Armenonville, just minutes from the buzz of central Paris and its striking competition venues, Team GB House will be open daily from the Opening Ceremony (26 July) to the Closing Ceremony (11 August).

Aldi, as the first Official House Partner for Paris 2024, will support Team GB in celebrating the contributions of athletes’ friends and family throughout the Games. With its close proximity to the heart of the action, Team GB House will provide the backdrop to the all-important reunions between athletes and their loved ones, post-competition.

Reigning modern pentathlon Olympic champion Joe Choong said, “As an athlete, the first thing you want to do after competing or winning a medal is to give your friends and family a hug – and then kick off the celebrations! Team GB House has always been an incredible place for us to share those moments, and having fans there for the first time is going to make it even more special.”

Andy Anson, CEO of the British Olympic Association, said: “Being able to offer Team GB fans the chance to be a part of the celebrations with the athletes, in person, is incredibly special. The proximity of Paris and the ease of getting there, represents a unique opportunity for supporters – we’re delighted that so many British fans are already planning to attend the Games themselves, and we hope that many of them will join us at Team GB House for the very best in hospitality when we open our doors next summer. It will be an incredible opportunity to mix with Team GB’s wonderful athletes.”

There will be limited tickets available to purchase for each day of the Games, with discounted rates available for children. Tickets are onsale now via TeamGB.com/House.

Next summer, Team GB will be opening up free-to-enter Fanzones across the UK for supporters to gather with friends and family to watch the action live from Paris 2024. Further details of Fanzone locations and opening hours will be confirmed in early 2024.

The British Olympic Association (BOA), which runs Team GB, is entirely independently funded – receiving no Government funds – and so all revenue from ticket sales goes towards supporting the BOA in taking athletes to the Olympic Games and various other events including the Youth Olympic Games and Youth Festivals.
